A business owner since 1996, Mr. Bruechert has over 20 years of business transactional experience, including 10 years of experience as in-house corporate counsel and principal of a multimillion dollar engineering services firm.
PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Mr. Bruechert is the founder of the firm’s legal and business consulting practice. He serves as principal and managing director in the firm’s Long Island headquarters. Mr. Bruechert is focused on the representation of business clients, for all aspects of business formation, operations, management, purchase and sale, as well as solo contingency, continuity and succession planning.

Bruechert has represented a diverse client list, including without limitation, doctors and other healthcare professionals, lawyers, accountants, engineers, architects, mortgage and insurance brokers, research scientists, and skilled craftsmen. Mr. Bruechert has completed countless major contracting transactions with foreign and domestic governments and commercial clients worldwide. Mr. Bruechert has extensive experience in all aspects of commercial and governmental contracting, international business transactions, export licensing, foreign corrupt practices compliance, organizational conflicts of interest evaluation and mitigation, and small business program compliance.

Mr. Bruechert is a licensed active member of the Bar in New York and Washington DC, and is licensed to practice, but is an inactive member of the bar in the State of Pennsylvania. Mr. Bruechert is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the USMMA Alumni Association, the Chambers of Commerce of Amityville and the Massapequas, and served on the Massapequa Park Board of Zoning Appeals.
EDUCATION
Mr. Bruechert obtained his B.S. from the United States Merchant Marine Academy at Kings Point New York, J.D. from New York Law School, L.L.M. in International Legal Studies from New York University School of Law, and M.B.A. from New York University Stern School of Business.
